Professor Mridul Eapen speaks about the historical and political context in Kerala that informed the state’s response to #COVID19. Eapen then elaborates on how Kerala ensured that the adverse impacts on women in terms of loss of livelihoods, wages and increase in workloads were addressed.

Professor Eapen is a Member of the Kerala State Planning Board and Honorary Fellow at the Centre for Development Studies.
