Focus on the Global South (Focus) will launch its Focus Policy Review 2019, “Critical Junction: Derailing or Accelerating the Dictatorship Express”

The FPR is a biennial publication that providing timely and grounded analysis on political economy. This issue critically examines the Duterte administration’s policy response and action points on the following issues:
- Charter Change and Federalism
- Inflation
- Food sovereignty
- Climate and environment
- Corruption
- Gender justice
- Human rights and democracy
- Peace and Mindanao
The publication also puts forward a progressive peoples’ agenda as an alternative to the dominant neoliberal and authoritarian agenda and proposes this to be the basis of our vote in the Midterm Elections.
