Here, during a demonstration at the Korean Embassy in the Philippines, Josua Mata of the Alliance of Progressive Labor challenges the authorities, claiming that the incident only brings to fore disturbing, anti-progressive trends in the Korean government’s support of the G20.
“G20 is illegitimate,” stresses Mata, who alleges that the deportation episode only further strengthens the case to be made against the G20’s legitimacy.
