At the World Social Forum in Montreal earlier this year, the Fight Inequality Alliance held a very interesting interactive discussion on the dynamics and manifestations of inequality, existing struggles to fight rising inequality, and how to build this movement nationally and internationally. Shalmali Guttal of Focus on the Global South spoke alongside Lina Holguin and Jenny Glassco of Oxfam-Quebec, Mojdeh Cox of the Canadian Labour Congress, Lidy Nacpil of Asia-Peoples’ Movement on Debt & Development, and Njoki Njehu of Daughters of Mumbi Global Resource Center. The event was chaired by Jenny Ricks of the Fight Inequality Alliance. The recording of the event, held on 12th August 2016, is available to view below and on YouTube.
