This is a special issue on climate change and climate justice, with particular focus given to how these issues are developing within the Philippine context. The readers are given an overview of what climate justice is about as well as of Philippine government efforts to address climate change. Parallel with the write-ups discussing Philippine realities are articles about the international agreements entered into by various States on climate change and how these initiatives have succeeded or failed to address climate change.
