Event: “Impasse at the UN Climate Negotiations: Indian Strategies on the Climate Debate”

We would like to invite you for an half day workshop from 10am to 1pm on Monday, 8th October 2012 on the “Impasse at the UN Climate Negotiations: Indian Strategies on the Climate Debate”, at Conference Room No.2, 2nd Floor, YWCA, Ashoka Road, next to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, New Delhi -110001. The climate crisis and the crisis of development are fundamentally linked together. Adverse weather events around the world, such as floods in China, drought in the United States and the changing pattern of the monsoons in India have caused damage to local, national and regional economies and only serve to highlight how climate change impacts and affects economic development and peoples’ livelihood.
